She was born Dec. 25, 1937. She was a retired 30-year teacher veteran. She touched lives in the Clarke County and St. Paul School Systems, Cedar Point, Coffeeville, Pilgrim St. Paul, Minn., and New Greater First Baptist Churches. She was a faithful member of all.
Survivors include her mother, Susie D. Seller, Coffeeville; one son, Jerrold W. (Kacee) Cox, St. Paul, Minn.; two daughters, Wanda (Gene) Caston, Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, Jacquelyn Cox, Atlanta, Ga.; two brothers, Nathaniel (Vermell) Sellers, Gulf Port, Miss, Dupree Sellers, Coffeeville; one sister, Geraldine (Walters) Collins, Uniontown, Ala.; eight grandchildren; nine step-children.
Visitation will be Friday, July 30 from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Reese Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville. A second visitation will be held Saturday, July 31 from 9 until 11 a.m. at New Greater First Baptist Church in Thomasville, with the service beginning at 11 a.m. The family visitation will will be at 2 p.m. at the Cedar Point Baptist Church in Coffeeville, with the funeral to follow.
Burial will be in the Cedar Point Baptist Church Cemetery. Reese Funeral Home will direct.
