Hazel Margaret Brady McDonald, 88, of Texarkana, Texas, died Sunday, July 25, 2010, at her residence.
She was born March 19, 1922, in Winnfield, Louisiana. She was a registered nurse, artist. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Texarkana.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Drs. Charles Jr. and Theresa McDonald of Texarkana, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Kay and Chuck McDonald of Knoxville, Tennessee; two sisters Frances Brady of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Ranelle Brady Andrews of Nunley, Tennessee; five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
She was the daughter of the late Barney Ranel Brady and Ella (Bailey) Brady of Atlanta, Louisiana. Her three brothers; Delton Brady, Ranel Brady, Jr., and John B. Brady and two sisters, Marie Barnes and Verna Lucille Whitmore, preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles L. McDonald, Sr. of Grove Hill.
Graveside services were at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, Florida, July 30. Memorial services will be held at First Baptist Church, Texarkana at 10:30, Wednesday, August 4, with Rev.
