Willie Brunell Presnall, 75, of Whatley died Aug. 5, 2010 at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 10, 1934. He was a member of McCann’s Chapel United Methodist Church in Jackson. He had served in the United States Coast Guard during the Korean Conflict. He was a retired self-employed well driller.
Survivors include his wife, Becky Presnall, Whatley; two sons, David Lee Presnall, Foster, Virginia, Stephen Morris Presnall, Meridian, Miss.; one daughter, Sandra Marie Durham, Columbia, South Carolina; one sister, Betty Jean Roberts, Grove Hill; 15 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hannis Arnold and Lula Gertrude Presnall, a brother, John Addison Presnall and a sister, Dorothy Luverne Muscat.
Visitation will be Sunday, Aug. 8 from 2 p.m. until the 3 p.m. service at Lathan Funeral Home Chapel in Grove Hill with Revs. Dave Rhodes and Percy Clarke officiating. Burial will be in the Amity Baptist Church Cemetery in Whatley. An online guest book may be signed at www.lathanfuneralhomes.com.
Active pallbearers will be James Moore, Donald Joe James, Don Anderson, Charles Hicks, David Presnall Jr., and David Muscat.
