Dot C. Lee, 77, of Leroy died Aug. 15, 2010 at her residence.
She was born July 25, 1933. She was a native of Coffeeville. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Leroy. She was a retired elementary school teacher with the Washington County Board of Education. She was co-owner of Destin’s Cottage Collectibles.
Survivors include her husband, Andrew Jackson "Jack" Lee, Leroy; two daughters, Dorie Lee (Ricky) Powell, Leroy, Sherry Lee (Mark) Wiley, Charlotte, N.C.; two grandchildren, Destin Powell (Caleb) Crosby, Falls Church, Virginia, Andrew Tyler Powell, Mobile; two great-grandchildren, Noah Powell Crosby, Eden Vee Crosby, both of Falls Church, Virginia.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Aug. 17 from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. service at Lathan Chapel Funeral Home in Jackson with Rev. James Watkins officiating. Burial will be the Trinity Memorial Gardens in Jackson. An online guest book may be signed at www.lathanfuneralhomes.com.
Active pallbearers will be Caleb F. Crosby, Larry Dunagan, DeWayne Byrd, Mike Blount, Lee Daugherty and Ronnie Daugherty.
Honorary pallbearers will be George Woodyard, Wade May, Steve Holland and Bill Reynolds.
