Dot C. Lee, 77, of Leroy died Aug. 15, 2010 at her residence.
She was born July 25, 1933. She was a native of Coffeeville. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Leroy. She was a retired elementary school teacher with the Washington County Board of Education. She was coowner of Destin’s Cottage Collectibles.
Survivors include her husband, Andrew Jackson “Jack” Lee, Leroy; two daughters, Dorie Lee (Ricky) Powell, Leroy, Sherry Lee (Mark) Wiley, Charlotte, N.C.; two grandchildren, Destin Powell (Caleb) Crosby, Falls Church, Virginia, Andrew Tyler Powell, Mobile; two great-grandchildren, Noah Powell Crosby, Eden Vee Crosby, both of Falls Church, Virginia.
The service was Aug. 17 at 2 p.m. at Lathan Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson with Rev. James Watkins officiating. Burial was in the Trinity Memorial Gardens in Jackson. An online guest book may be signed at www.lathanfuneralhomes. com.
Active pallbearers were Caleb F. Crosby, Larry Dunagan, DeWayne Byrd, Mike Blount, Lee Daugherty and Ronnie Daugherty.
