Evelyn C. Inman Northington, 75, of Camden died Oct. 29, 2010 at her residence.
She was born April 11, 1935 in Calvin, West Virginia. She was a member of the Bible Baptist Church. She was a retired nurse and respiratory therapist. She was also a former librarian with the Wilcox County Library.
Survivors include her husband, William "Billy Joe" Northington, Camden; one son, James E. "Jim" Centers, Thomasville; one daughter, Margaret Ann "Margie" Centers, Camden; one brother, Sam (Shirley) Cunningham, Bonifay, Fla.; two sisters, Shirley (Kenneth) Cunningham, Summersville, W.V., Elizabeth (Ted) Brown, Summersville, W.V.
The service was Nov. 2 at 2 p.m. at the Bible Baptist Fellowship Church with Rev. Tommy Primm officiating. Burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery in Camden. O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home of Thomasville directed.
Active pallbearers were Matt McKinley, Bobby Jenkins, Mike Prime, Steve Smith, Catrett and Evans Murphy.
Honorary pallbearers were Rip Godbold, Steve Maness, James K. Pearson and Leonard Warren.
