Willie Curtis Fails, 80, of Campbell died Dec. 2, 2010 at Mobile Infirmary.
He was born in Monroe County and had been a resident of Clarke County for 17 years. He was a member of the Full Gospel Revival Center in Monroeville. He was a truck driver and also worked for several gas stations.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Fails, Campbell; two nephews, Elliott Fails Jr., Edward Fails and one niece, Gloria Jean Day.

George G. Gilchrist, 83, of Waynesboro, Tenn., died Dec. 6, 2010 at Waynesboro, Tenn.
He was born June 17, 1927 in Grove Hill. He was the son of the late James Cullen and Lillie Dell Duke Gilchrist. He was retired from the United States Air Force after serving 21 years.
Survivors include his wife, Eunice Hinson Gilchrist; daughters, Sharon Gilchrist (Michael) Mathers, Sandra Gilchrist (William J.) Morgan; grandson, Jordan L. Kiddy, all of Waynesboro, Tenn.; one granddaughter, Cindy M. Mathers; two brothers, Edward Gilchrist, Birmingham, Branton Gilchrist, Grove Hill; two sisters, Mildred Paul, Grove Hill, Betty Sue Starling, McClinty, Fla.; a very special friend that was like his daughter, Christina Huett, Montgomery.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Miller Gilchrist.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Dec. 8 from 5 until 8 p.m. and Thursday, Dec. 9 at 8 a.m. until the service time at Shackleford Funeral Home in Waynesboro, Tenn. (46-1tp)
