Lorraine Johnson, 58, of Jackson, died Dec. 17, 2010 at Jackson Medical Center.
She was a member of Mt. Olive No. 2 Baptist Church. She attended the Star Zion A.M.E. Zion Church in Jackson.
Survivors include two sons, William (Mindy) Johnson, McIntosh, Marshall Johnson, Atlanta, Ga.; three daughters, Angela (Germaine) McKenzie, Idaliana Johnson, both of Jackson, Jennifer Johnson, Boston, Mass.; nine brothers, Nevelle (Marilyn) Johnson, Deer Park, James (Jackie) Johnson, Richard Lowe, Willie Lewis Chapman, all of Jackson, Vernon Earl Lowe, Selma, John Lowe Jr. of Texas, Willie Earl Lowe, Seattle, Wash., Tommie Lee Lowe, Montgomery, John Lee Chapman, Brooklyn, N.Y.; three sisters, Charletta (SA) Henderson, Anniston, Shell (Derrick) Reed, Wagarville, Alafair Belton,Jackson; 15 grandchildren; three godchildren, Josh Sims, Lawerence James, Lashundra Worthy, all of Jackson; brother-in-law, Johnnie Ezell, Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Lowe and Mary Lee Johnson; one son, Lashavin Johnson; one sister, Katherine Ezell; and one brother, Edward Lee Johnson.
The service was Dec. 22 at Mt. Olive No. 2 Baptist Church in Jackson with Rev. Alvin Hamilton as officiating minister and Rev. Stevenson E. Tullis, pastor.  Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery. Jackson Memorial Funeral Home directed.
