William C. Mosley, 95, of Frankville died Dec. 15, 2010.

He was born July 30, 1915. He was a native of Washington County. He was a lifelong member of the New Hope Methodist Church. He was a World War II veteran serving in the United States Army Air Corps. He was a self-employed logger and cattle farmer.

Survivors include one son, Arthur C. (Elizabeth) Mosley, Frankville; four daughters, Frances V. Richardson, Edna Reynolds, both of Frankville, Bobbie Jean (Tommy) O'Neal, Yarbo, Lois (Thomas) Palm, Mobile; one brother, Douglas Palmer, Buckatunna, Miss.; brother-by-choice, Jessie Elmer Richardson, Frankville; eight grandchildren; 10 greatgrandchildren; one greatgreat grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Mosley.

The service was Dec. 18 at 2 p.m. at Frankville Baptist Church with Revs. Nadine Brewster Walters and Jimmy Butts officiating. Burial was in the Frankville Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request tributes to the Frankville Baptist Church, New Hope United Methodist Church or Double Branch Assembly of God in Frankville. Active pallbearers were Charlie Reynolds, Chris Beech, Kenneth Richardson, Joe Hill, Terrell Smith and Jeff Jennings.

Honorary pallbearers were Ray Richardson Jr., Wayne Henson, Jimmy Elmore, Bud Ryland, John Grimes, Jerry Earl Johnson, Andrew Elmore, Tim Whiting, J.B. Everette, Jack Baxter and Needham Henson.
