Edna Earle Adams Pugh, 80, of Mount Vernon died Dec. 29, 2010 at her residence.
She was born March 12, 1930. She was a Godly woman, a dedicated homemaker, and a loving wife to her husband of 58 years, Warren Elroy Pugh Sr., and a loving mother to her 10 children. She was a great cook and lady who loved her flowers. She attended Faith Temple Church of God in Mount Vernon.
Survivors include her husband, Warren Elroy Pugh Sr., Mount Vernon; six sons, Dale Edward Pugh, Mount Vernon, Warren Pugh Jr., (Crissy), Calvert, Jimmy D. Pugh, I, Grove Hill, Marty (Jody) Pugh, Lucedale, Miss., Tim (Brenda Zelaya) Pugh, Saraland, David Pugh, Waynesboro, Miss.; two daughters, Wanda Elreta (Franklin) Everett, Citronelle, Donna (David) Phillips, Mount Vernon; two brothers, Paul Adams, Moss Point, Miss., Shorty (Margaret) Adams, Citronelle; four sisters, Faye (S.E.) Watts, Citronelle, Hazel (Noah) Morgan, Grove Hill, Hilda Walker, Katie Adams, both of Mount Vernon; 27 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Nora Lee Adams, a son, Dexter Pugh, a daughter, Charlotte Havens; a son-in-law, Dale Havens; a brother, John L. Adams.
The service was Jan. 2 at 2 p.m. at Freeman Funeral Home Chapel in Citronelle with Revs. Jimmy D. Pugh II and David W. Phillips officiating. Burial was in the Mount Vernon Community Cemetery in Mount Vernon.
