Orville Floyd Holley Jr., 71, of Jackson died Jan. 10, 2011 from a "broken heart" at his residence.
He was born Oct. 11, 1938. He was a native of Ohio. He was a member of the American Legion. He served in the United States Marine Corps. during the Vietnam era. He was a retired maintenance supervisor with Olin Chemical.
Survivors include one son, Vince (Yvonne) Holley, Jackson; two daughters, Charla Holley, Amanda (Paul) Dungan, all of Jackson; three brothers, Jerry Holley, Florida, Bob Holley, Texas, Gary Holley, Ohio; two grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Jan. 12 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Lathan Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson. The service will be Thursday, Jan. 13 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Tim Huie officiating at Lathan Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson. Burial with military honors by the United States Marine Corp. will be at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Jackson.
