Reba Roper Williams, 55, a resident of Toddtown, died Jan. 17, 2011 at her residence.
She was a member of Pine Chapel No. 2 Baptist Church in Toddtown where she served on the Usher Board until her health failed.
Surviving are her husband, George Williams of Toddtown; daughter, Alvis LaRhonda (Bobby) Carter of Mobile; son, Marcus Dewayne Roper of Sacramento, Calif.; two grandchildren, Zadaviss Terrell and Nakeisha Versetta Carter, both of Mobile; father, West Roper of Toddtown; three sisters, Roberta Creighton, Thelma ( Johnny) Henry and Gloria (Willie) Smiley, all of Toddtown; five brothers, L.C. (Gloria) Roper, John (Mae Etta) Roper, Levan (Charlie) Roper, Hilbert (Majorie) Roper and the Rev. Tommie Roper, all of Toddtown; aunt, Jackie Nixon of Columbus, Ga.; uncle, Sam Pugh of Utica, N.Y.; two sisters-inlaw, Ruby Roper of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Beatrice ( Barry) Hurd of Jackson; three brothers-in-law, James (Betty) Williams of Wagarville, Arnold Williams of Jackson and Jimmy Williams of Pittsburgh, Pa.
The funeral will be Friday, Jan. 21, 3 p.m. Viewing will begin at 2 p.m. The Rev. De- Wayne Stallworth, pastor and the Rev. Fredrick Thompson will be the officiating ministers. Interment will be in the church cemetery with Jackson Memorial Funeral Home directing.
