Linda Faye Woods, 54, of Chatom died Feb. 1, 2011 at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center. She was a native of Sunflower. 
Survivors include her mother and father, Augusta Fields James, Sunflower and James Ray Woods, McClain, Miss.; one brother, Ronald (Janice) Woods Sr., Sunflower; nephew, Ronald W. Woods Jr., Sunflower; niece, Natalie D. Woods, Birmingham; first cousins, Roseal B. Bettis Jr., Nashville, Tenn., Valda M. (Christopher) Chijide of Canada; as well as her extended family and the staff of the Educational Center for Independence Assistant Living Home in Chatom.
She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Leslie James; aunt, Mildred Fields Bettis; grandparents, Clara B. and George Fields; and a special friend, Robert Earnest Gandy.
The service was Feb. 7 at the Little Sunflower Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. David Adam, pastor, as officiating minister. Burial was in the Benjamin Fields Cemetery in Sunflower. Jackson Memorial Funeral Home directed.
