Annie Etheridge Hill, 95, of Dixons Mills died March 3, 2011 at her residence.
She was born Aug. 23, 1915 in Sweet Water. She was a member of the Dixons Mills Baptist Church where she was a longtime Sunday school teacher. She was a former seamstress with Vanity Fair.
Survivors include two sons, Cecil (Carol) Hill, Randall ( Janet) Hill, all of Thomasville; three daughters, Jo Deloach, Dadeville, Marilyn Costas, Atlanta, Ga., Sandra Jirkal, Dixons Mills; nine grandchildren, Randy Hill, Tammy Hill, Windy Hill, Kim Deloach Rau, Suzanne Costas, Keri Hill Davis, Jennifer Hill Casey, Jennifer Robertson, Dwight Nelson; five greatgrandchildren.
The service was March 6 at 2 p.m. at Dixons Mills Baptist Church with Revs. Leon Harrison and Richard Martindale officiating. Burial was in the Dunning Cemetery in Dixons Mills.
Active pallbearers were Mike Jackson, Michael Agee, Peter Frank McGilberry, Mac McGilberry, Frank McGilberry and Vic Dungan.
