Hollis Monroe Ott, 76, of York died May 6, 2011 at Sumter Health & Rehabilitation in York.
He was a retired heavy equipment operator at the state docks.
Survivors include four brothers, Herman (Martha) Bedwell, Mobile, Joe "Leroy" (Brenda) Bedwell, York, Charles (Linda) Bedwell, Dothan, Leroy (Edna) Bedwell Jr., York; one sister, Minnie (Aulden) Sumrall, Mobile.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmore and Bardee Bedwell; one sister, Velma Woodard and her husband, Rex; mother of his children, Ruhama Ott, three children, Don Ott, Joe Ott and an infant daughter.
The service will be May 9 at 3 p.m. at the Centerpoint Baptist Church in Coffeeville with Revs. David Wilkinson and Roy Dunagan officiating. Burial will be in the Centerpoint Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
Active pallbearers will be Randy Bedwell, Wally Bedwell, Chris Bedwell, Eric Bedwell, Dale Sumrall, Kenny Sumrall, Mike Bedwell and Chuck Bedwell.
