Glover James Morgan, 91, of Coffeeville died May 13, 2011 in a Mobile hospital.
He was born Sept. 28, 1919. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church north of Coffeeville. He was a member of the Coffeeville Masonic Lodge. He served honorably in World War II as a Seaman First Class in the United States Navy. He was a retired truck driver for the Clarke County Commission.
Survivors include one son, James Morgan, Jackson; one daughter, Yvonne M. Dunagan Mathers, Coffeeville; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
The service was May 16 at 11 a.m. at Center Point Baptist Church in Coffeeville with Revs. Leland James and Warren Shewmake officiating. Burial was in the Center Point Cemetery in Coffeeville.
Active pallbearers were J.R. Morgan, Richard Shaugar, Chipper Tucker, Victor Tipper, Kyle Dunagan and Paul Dunagan.
Honorary pallbearers were Masons and members of the Coffeeville Masonic Lodge.
