Alpha Mae Bozeman, 78, of Grove Hill died July 1, 2011 at Mobile Infirmary Hospital.
She was born Aug. 27, 1932. She was a member of Jackson Church of Christ. She was a home health nurse for Grove Hill Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include one son, Bobby Joe Hicks, Grove Hill; two daughters, Sharon (Bobby) Smith, Adra (Tommy) Dungan, Jackson; two brothers, Levon Hicks, Grove Hill, Billy Hicks, Washington State; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three husbands, James Rivers Hicks Jr., Grady Holloway and Robert Bozeman, one son, Rivers Clay Hicks, one brother, Johnny Clay Poole; three sisters, Agnes Pharr, Jimmie Beasley, and Clairce Williamson.
The service was July 3 at 2 p.m. at Lathan Funeral Home in Grove Hill with Minister Brad Gentle and Rev. David Webb officiating. Burial was in the Asbury Baptist Cemetery in Grove Hill.
