John Sullivan Jr., 62, of McIntosh, died July 23, 2011.
He was born July 26, 1948. He was the son of Julia Sullivan Adams and the late John Sullivan Sr. He had been an employee at AKZO Nobel for 33 years.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Julia and J.C. Adams; his loving and devoted wife of 43 years, Bonnie P. Sullivan; three sons, Overseer John (Loretta) Sullivan III, Adrain Sullivan, Minister Broderick (Taraethia) Sullivan; two daughters, Shenovia (Dell) Moore and Erica Thomas; two brothers, Ferdinand (Debra) Sullivan, Michael (Gloria) Sullivan; four sisters, Ruth Porter, Earlean (Leroy) Matthews, Julia (Alan) Breech, Allean (Wendell) Larkin; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; devoted friends, Ernest Thomas, Robert Reed, Andy Lang, Hugo Brown, Mark Patrick, Erine Taylor, Dale Naramore, Arthur James Mitchell, Richard Kiel, Pastor Ronald Todd, Fannie Abrams, Joseph Dennis, Dicky Lowe, Raymond Brazel, Tommie Baxter, the AKZO family and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services were Saturday, July 30 at 11 a.m., at the Church of God Pentecostal, 4260 Highway 43 North in McIntosh, with visitation from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour at 11. Elder Bobby Powe will be the host pastor and Bishop Willie D. Roberts will be the officiating minister. Burial will be at Vaughn Cemetery in McIntosh. Jackson Memorial Funeral Home directed. (28-1tp)
