Ralph Condred Overstreet, 78, of Gainestown died Aug. 14, 2011 at Jackson Medical Center.
He was born May 2, 1933. He was a member of the Jones Chapel Methodist Church. He was a former member of the Masonic Lodge in Satsuma. He was retired from the Prichard Water Department as a Water Pruification Operator.
Survivors include his wife, Mavis Overstreet, Gainestown; one son, Ralph Dexter (Lisa) Overstreet, Gainestown; four daughters, Sherry (Frank) Enzor, Saraland, Debra Horton (Greg) Bice, Mobile, Rena (Tony) Cox, Jackson, Lisa (Chris) Gates, Gainestown; two brothers, Ronnie Overstreet, Gerald Overstreet, both of Gainestown; two sisters, Willene McDonald, Bessmer, Voncille Echols, Jackson; 12 grandchildren, Jody (Amber) Enzor, Brad (Ashley) Enzor, Dana (Robert) Lloyd, Corey (Tiffany) Horton, Megan Horton, Charity Cox, Anthony Cox, Rebecca (Chad) Martin, Beth Overstreet, Ryan (Rebecca) Gates, Carly Gates, Macie Gates; 15 great-grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, Hailey, Loralynn, Judson and Chip Enzor; Landen, Madisen, Lloyd, Kaden and Kinsley Horton; Landon and Natalie Cox, Brylie Coooper, Will and Gabby Martin, Keri Rose Harvey and Zoe Grace.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Condy and Willie Overstreet, six brothers, James Overstreet, Elwood Overstreet, Armodn Overstreet, Woodie Overstreet, Condy Willie "C.W." Overstreet and a sister, Mildred Webb Young.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Aug. 16 at 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. service at Jones Chapel Congregational Methodist Church. Burial will be at the Jones Chapel Congregational Methodist Church Cemetery.
