Patsy McInnis McLendon, age 73, a native of Jackson and a resident of Millers Ferry, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on August 17, 2011 in a Mobile hospital. Mrs. McLendon was retired after 36 years from Boise, Jackson, Al as Human Resource Manager. She was a charter member of Riverview Baptist Church in Millers Ferry and had served as Chairperson for Millers Ferry Relay For Life. She was also instrumental in organizing the Millers Ferry Water Authority and served on the Board.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Neal McLendon, two sons, Ben McLendon of Stockton and Ken McLendon and wife Kim of Jackson, one granddaughter, Courtney Leigh McLendon of Spanish Fort. She is also survived by one brother, Hugh McInnis of Gautier, Ms and one sister, Roselyn Patton of Fulton, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, E. H. & Rosa Lee McInnis’, three brothers, Harold McInnis. Bobby McInnis and Bill McInnis.
The service was Aug. 20 at 11 a.m. at Lathan Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson with Rev. Doug Williams officiating. Burial was in Trinity Memorial Gardens, Jackson. An online guest book may be signed at www.lathanfuneralhomes.c om.
Pallbearers were Pratt Patton, Bobby Foreman, Ronnie Daugherty, Richard Foreman, Arthur White, Charles Lee, Carey McInnis and Lee Waller.
