Charles Thomas Clemmons, 48, of Thomasville died Aug. 21, 2011 at Mobile Infirmary.

He was born Jan. 28, 1963 in Meridian, Miss. he was a member of Thomasville Baptist Church. He was a former cell phone call center representative.

Survivors include his father, Joe Dale Clemmons, Thomasville; his mother, Jean Clemmons, Thomasville; one daughter, Elizabeth Claire Clemmons, Tuscaloosa; three sisters, Susan Dale Clemmons, Charlotte, N.C.; Cathy (Morris) Clemmons Pate, Plant City, Fla., Nancy Lynn Clemmons, Houston, Texas; three aunts and uncles, Alice and Earnest White, Gordo, Pauline and Roy Williams, Tuscaloosa, Jeri and Leon Kemp, Northport; one aunt, Rebecca Corder, Hartsell; numerous cousins.

The service was Aug. 24 at 2 p.m. at Thomasville Baptist Church with Rev. Ty Parten and Dr. James Best officiating. Burial was in the Choctaw Corner Cemetery in Thomasville.

Active pallbearers were Alan Stoudenmire, Dennis White, George Adams, George Overstreet, Ray Charles Dalphin and Jonathan Smathers.

Honorary pallbearers were Marcus Champion, Barry Woods, Mark Mason and Friends and Neighbors of Eloine Street, The Fisher of Men Sunday School Class at Thomasville Baptist Church.

Memorials may be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
