She was born April 29, 1957. She was a native of Coffeeville. She was the daughter of Eddie Christmas and Minnie Christmas Johnson. She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior at 15 years of age. She was a graduate of Toulminville High School in Mobile. She also attended Bishop State Community College and Phoenix University. She was very involved in community activities having dedicated more than 15 years of service to Union Baptist Church serving in the mass choir and as president of the Union Baptist Scholarship Fund since 1998.
Survivors include her devoted husband of 26 years, Frederick Williams; children, Brandi (Tubarriton) Chapman, Jackson, Frederick Christmas, Mobile, Courtney Christmas, Atlanta, Georgia, Billy (Patricia) Mitchell, Coffeeville; two beloved sisters, and a brother, Marilyn (Ocie) Howard, Edwina (Stephen) Tucker and Eddie Christmas; five grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins, as well as two dear friends, Sandra Martin and Diane Holder.
She was preceded in death by her niece, Tiffany Nicole and siblings, Ramina Faye Christmas, Deborah Christmas Moore.
The service was Aug. 27 at Union Baptist Church in Coffeeville with Rev. Vayton Chapman, pastor and Rev. Forest B. Lett officiating. Burial was in the Christmas and Johnson Family Cemetery in Coffeeville. (33-1tp)
