Rev. Billy Frank Hall, 80, of Jackson died Oct. 1, 2011 at Providence Hospital.
He was born Feb. 13, 1931 in Woodland, Ala. to the late Frank T. and Willie Mae Foster Hall moving here at the age of six months old. He attended Livingston State College (University of West Alabama) and the Candler School of Theology at Emory University. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving during the Korean Conflict. He attended the First United Methodist Church of Jackson. He was a retired Methodist minister serving the Alabama-West Florida Conference. He was a member and an ordained deacon of the conference. He was also a Mason with Santa FeLodge #226.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Harrison, Jackson; three daughters, Delise Sanders, Hendersonville, Tenn., Kaye Green, Hattiesburg, Miss., Andrea Burgin, New Orleans, La.; one sister, Joye Graham, Smithville, Texas; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Oct. 4 from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service at the First United Methodist Church of Jackson with Revs. Paul Wolfe, David McLean, and Rev. Jim DuFriend officiating. Burial was in the Trinity Memorial Gardens in Jackson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Methodist Children’s Home or the First United Methodist Church of Jackson’s Mission Fund.
