He was born July 24, 1951 in Fulton. He was a member of Pineview Baptist Church. He was a maintenance consultant with International Paper Company of Pine Hill. He was an avid Auburn fan and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, cooking and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Virginia “Jean” Hutto, Thomasville; his father, Cordell Hutto, Thomasville; four daughters, Mandy H. (Robert) Godbold, Arlington, Cindy (Greg) Hare, Vickey (Travis) Parker, all of Thomasville, Theresa (Terry) Tyson, Butler; one brother, Tim (Denise) Hutto, O’Fallon, Ill.; one sister, Jackie H. Raybon, Pine Hill; nine grandchildren, Mary Leighton Parsons, Nikki Hare, Erin H. (Galen) Steadham, Matthew Parker, Andrew Parker, Sarah Tyson, Lindsey Tyson, Olivia Tyson, Amanda Tyson; four nephews, Dr. Justin Hutto, Dean Hutto, Aaron Hutto, Kyle Raybon; one niece, Kim Raybon.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lois Deaton Hutto.
The service was Oct. 1 at 11 a.m. at Pineview Baptist Church with Rev. Mitch Thrower officiating. Burial was in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Thomasville.
Active pallbearers were Robert Godbold, Greg Hare, Terry Tyson, Travis Parker, Galen Steadham and Matt Parker.
Honorary pallbearers were The Men’s Sunday School Class of Pineview Baptist Church and his co-workers in the maintenance department at International Paper.
