Kay R. Coleman, 69, of Grove Hill died Oct. 7, 2011 at Golden Living Center in Foley.
She was born May 9, 1942. She was a native of Jackson. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Grove Hill. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She had worked as a senior executive assistant at Boise Cascade.
Survivors include her mother, Ethel Raffield, Grove Hill; two sons, Fred G. ( Jackie) Mott Jr., Foley, James Henry (Carol) Mott, Silver Hill; two step-sons, Allen Coleman, Linden, Kyle Coleman, Tuscaloosa; two step-daughters, Dana Coleman Dunn, Cottondale, Lynne Coleman, Sycamore; one sister, Rebecca R. Hawkins, Atlanta, Ga.; two grandchildren, Bridget Mott and Jake Mott.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Allen Coleman, a brother, Johnathan H. Raffield Jr. and her father, Jack H. Raffield.
The service was Oct. 9 at 3 p.m. at Grove Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Gaillard officiating. Burial was in the Grove Hill Cemetery.
