Mack Williamson, 80, of Millry died Oct. 17, 2011 at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro, Miss.
He was a native of Fulton. He served in the United States Army. He was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church of Millry. He preached and pastored various churches throughout the years in Alabama and Mississippi. He retired from Ciba-Geigy Chemical Plant after 40 plus years. Even after retirement he continued to work smaller electrical jobs, along with flower gardens, fishing and woodworking which was his favorite hobby. He was a former town council member for Millry.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Williamson, Millry; one son, Jeff (Heidi) Williamson, Pensacola, Fla.; four daughters, Carol Harris, Gulf Shores, Sheila (Larry) Sheffield, Semmes, Gina ( Thomas) Counselman, Michelle Williamson, all of Millry; one twin brother, Mike (Ruth) Williamson, Grove Hill; one sister, Virginia Ann Williamson, Huntsville; 14 grandchildren; nine greatgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Flo Malone.
The service was Oct. 19 at 2 p.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Millry with Revs. Frank Gibson and Sidney Hill officiating. Burial was in the Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Millry.
