Donnie Lee Parden, 74, of Coffeeville died Oct. 20, 2011 at Providence Hospital in Mobile.
He was born Aug. 12, 1937. He was a member of Ulcanush Baptist Church. He was manager with Koppers Timber Treatment.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Parden, Coffeeville; two sons, Timmy (Linda Sue) Parden, Grove Hill, Joe (Janee) Parden, Coffeeville; six brothers, Quitman Parden, Petal, Miss., Wilbur Parden, Thomasville, Lundy Parden, Vero Beach, Fla., Louie Parden, Luther Parden, both of Grove Hill, Gettys Parden, Wetumpka; five sisters, Evelyn Parden, Faye Mooneyham, both of Birmingham, Dorothy Newton, Fulton, Juanice Price, Vista, Calif., Kay Smalley, Butler; four grandchildren, Ethan Parden, Lane Parden, Charlie Rice, Dale Rice; five greatgrandchildren.
The service was Oct. 22 at 2 p.m. at Ulcanush Baptist Church in Coffeeville with Revs. Bennie Harrison, Larry Cox and Jessie Griffith officiating. Burial was in the Ulcanush Baptist Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Charlie Rice, William Gibbons, Ethan Parden, Lane Parden, Gene Montgomery and Larry Parden.
Honorary pallbearers were Danny Garner, Duelon Dunagan,
David Overton, Lee Williams, Davis Deas, Johnny Bumpers and Wayne Courtney
