Willie Clyde (Boolie) Pugh, 73, of Grove Hill died Oct. 26, 2011.
He was born June 18, 1938 to the late Minnie Mae Henderson and the late Isaiah Pugh.
Survivors included his lovely and devoted wife, Vivian Pugh, Grove Hill; four sons, Virgil (Tina Gaston) Chapman, Brandon Pugh, all of Grove Hill, Warren Swell, Mobile; one step-son, Roderick (Tyesha) Douglas, Mobile; three daughters, Tammy (Craig) Wilcox, Mobile, Donna Pugh, Belvin Pugh, both of Los Angeles, Calif.; three brothers, Clifford (Gracie) Chapman, Coffeeville, Ferdinand (Betty) Pugh, Mobile, Edward Pugh, Moss Point, Miss.; one sister, Etta Mae Chapman (Johnny Anderson), Grove Hill; four brothers-in-law, Kenneth (Brenda) Douglas, Cincinnati, Ohio, Joseph (Amy) Douglas, Donald (Pat) Douglas, Frank Douglas, all of Mobile; four sisters-in-law, Linda (Clarence) Risper, Mattie Eberson, both of Mobile, Marilyn (Delrick) Johnson, Tennessee, Brenda McKinney, Dallas, Texas; two devoted godchildren, Keontae ("Uncle Elroy") Hill, Keniya ("Lady Bug") Chapman; two devoted friends, Robert (Enice) Chapman, Ollie Mae Pugh; a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and friends.
The service will be Saturday, Nov. 5 at 12 p.m. at Mount Zion #2 Baptist Church in Grove Hill with Revs. Cory J. Pruitt, pastor and Rev. Robert L. Jackson Sr., officiating. Burial will be in St. Luke’s Cemetery in Grove Hill.
