Geraldine Twilley Morgan, 74, of Thomasville died Nov. 13, 2011 at her residence.
She was born March 13, 1927 in Moore’s Valley, Ala. She was a member of the Thomasville Baptist Church. She was a retired postmaster.
Survivors include her husband, N. Terry Morgan, Thomasville; two sons, Melvin Edward Morgan, Clinton, Arkansas, James Taylor, Spanish Fort; two daughters, Sandra Morgan Moody, Guntersville, Angela Morgan Wenyon, Newark, Delaware; two brothers, Melvin Twilley, Greensboro, N.C., Richard Twilley, Mobile; two sisters, Peggy Davis, Lompoc, Calif., Betty Lou Williams, Theodore; 10 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Alonzo William Twilley, her mother, Gracie Mae Patrick Twilley; three brothers, two sisters.
The service was Nov. 15 at 11 a.m. at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Ty Parten officiating. Burial was in the County Line Baptist Church Cemetery in Arlington.
Active pallbearers were Ben Moody, Nathan Morgan, Sloane Morgan, Austin Morgan, Alec Morgan and Logan Morgan.
Honorary pallbearers were members of the Seekers Sunday School Class of Thomasville Baptist Church.
