Tommy Bernis Jackson, 44, of Southside died Dec. 9, 2011.
He was born in Houston, Texas and spent summers with grandparents in Brent. He was a member of the Meadowbrook Baptist Church. He was a man of integrity, honesty, compassion and service. Tommy’s legacy is love and family.
Survivors include his wife, Jacinda and daughter, Jeneesa; parents, Larry and Carol Jackson, Brent; aunts and uncles, Albert "Buddy" Jackson, Kay Broadhead, Rita Carlee, Delores Hobson, Michael "Chunky" Jackson, Centreville; aunt, Betty Whittington and uncle, Clent Brown of Texas; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Saturday, Dec. 17 at 11 a.m. at Rockco Funeral Home at Centreville with the service at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Pineland Memorial Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Joey Carlee, Larry "Scooter" Compton, Todd Jackson, Ronnie "Muff" Miskelley, Robert Payton, Timothy Payton and Creed Potter.
Honorary pallbearer will be Michael "Chunky" Jackson.
