Gary Lee Counselman, 58, of Coffeeville died Dec. 16, 2011 at his residence.
He was born June 18, 1953 in Grove Hill. He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church. He served as the fire chief of the West Bend/Bethel Volunteer Fire Department. He was a power house operator at Weyerhaeuser Paper Mill.
Survivors include two sons, Brent (Syliva) Fuller, Whatley, Daniel (Ashley) Fuller, Grove Hill; one daughter, Kasie (Ben) Etheredge, Coffeeville; three grandchildren, Abby Fuller, Jack Fuller and Carter Etheredge.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Vick Counselman.
The service was Dec. 18 at 2 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church with Revs. Wilton Bennett and Leland James officiating. Burial was in the Ulcanush Baptist Church Cemetery in Coffeeville.
 Active pallbearers were Michael White, Billy Robinson, Charles May, Joe James, Brian James and Jason James.
Honorary pallbearers were members of the West Bend/Bethel Volunteer Fire Department and The Coffeeville Volunteer Fire Department.
