Ethel Joyce Williams, 69, of Chatom died Jan. 3, 2012 at her residence.
She was born Nov. 1, 1942. She was a native of Barlow. She was a member of the Springbank Baptist Church. She was manager of Paul and Mavis Kendrick Caring Hearts Thrift Store sponsored by the Washington County Baptist Association.
Survivors include her husband, William “Bill” Williams, Chatom; one son, William L. “Lane” (Lauren) Williams IV, Alexandria, Virginia; two daughters, Victoria Leigh (Brett C.) Bosarge, Theodore, Joy Lynn Moss, Chatom; two sisters, Sylvia McMillan Moss, Mamie Leigh ( Willard) Moss, all of Chatom; five grandchildren, Amanda Bosarge Briggs, Joshua Sterling Moss, Erin Nicole Bosarge, Lillian Faith Moss and Tara Marie Bosarge.
The service was Jan. 7 at 11 a.m. at Springbank Baptist Church with Revs. Ricky Revette and Bobby Smith officiating. Burial was in the Springbank Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to The Gideon’s Bible Program or Springbank Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 491, Chatom.
Active pallbearers were Larry Moss, Al Moss, T.J. Herbert, Brian Moss, Jason Moorer and Johnnie Guy.
