Maxine Diann Mullins, 61, of Grove Hill died Feb. 2, 2012 at her residence.
She was born Feb. 9, 1950. She was a native of Sunny South. She was a member of the Asbury Baptist Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, (VFW). She was a security guard with Alabama River Pulp.
Survivors include her husband, Billy Frank Mullins, Grove Hill; one son, Johnnie (Bobbie Jean) Mullins, Grove Hill; her mother, Eula Maxine Parnell, Pine Hill; six brothers, Rayford Parnell, Tallahatta Springs, Douglas Parnell, Skeeter Parnell, both of Thomasville, Don Parnell, Leroy, Kenneth Parnell, Mo- bile, Leon Parnell, Chilton; three sisters, Bobby Holder, Texas, Joyce Huckabee, Louisiana, Shelia Green, Pine Hill; two grandchildren, Darren Mullins, Shelby Mullins.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Edward Parnell, a son, Frank Mullins, a sister, Shirley Jackson and a brother, Freeman Parnell.
The service was Feb. 4 at 12 noon at Lathan Funeral Home Chapel in Grove Hill with Revs. Marion Ball and James Skeeter Parnell officiating. Burial was in the County Line Baptist Church Cemetery in Marengo County.
Active pallbearers were Douglas Parnell, Rayford Parnell, Kenneth Parnell, Don Parnell, Leon Allison and Jon Wesley Parnell.
Honorary pallbearer was Ward Jackson.
