Clay A. Young, 46, of Whatley died May 12, 2012 at his residence.

He was a member of the Morning Star Baptist Church. He was a construction worker.

Survivors include his wife, Francis Young, Whatley; two daughters, Veronica (Larvirshaun) Jackson, Mobile, Victoria Young, Monroeville; three brothers, Rev. Willie (Laura) Young, Henry Young, Evangelist

Charles Young, all of Whatley; three sisters, Cora Young, Ida Mobley, Liza ( Jimmy) Snell, all of Whatley; one brother-inlaw, Sam Fails, Grove Hill; one uncle, Floyd Lynum, Mobile; aunt, Rosie Harris, Whatley; devoted nephew, Kelcey Marbley; devoted friends, Adrian, Noland, Michael, Pat Jr. and Elisha; a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

The service was May 19 at 11 a.m. at Morning Star Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby England officiating. Burial was in the Harris/Cleveland Cemetery in Whatley. Jackson Memorial Funeral Home directed.
