Franklin Delano Lee, 81, of Carlton died May 30, 2012 at his residence.
He was born May 21, 1931. He was a charter member of the First Assembly of God of Jackson and attended Rockville Baptist Church. He was a member of the V.F.W., a Mason, a member of the Abba Temple Shrine and Tombigbee Shrine Club. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and was awarded the Combat Infantry Badge. He was a retired attorney.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth J. Lee, Carlton; three sons, Daniel Lee, Montgomery, Mark (Donna) lee, Wetumpka, Jason Lee, Mobile; three brothers, D.P. Lee, Carlton, Cecil Lee, Jackson, David Lee, Springfield, Missouri; one sister, Margerine Johnson, Lakeland, Fla.; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Brad Lee, a daughter, Jennifer Atchison and a sister, Aline Johnson.
The service was June 3 at 2 p.m. at Lathan Funeral Home with Revs. Mark Dunn, David Lee and E.C. Russell officiating. Burial was in the Gaddy’s Chapel Cemetery.
