Jamari Rashard Pugh, 17, of Whatley died May 21, 2012.
He was born Sept. 18, 1994. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Whatley. He was a sophomore at Clarke County High School where he played football for the Clarke County High School "Bulldogs."
He leaves to cherish precious memories, a loving mother, Mrs. Cassandra Richardson, Grove Hill; a loving father, Eddie (Bathsheba) Dale, Pleasant Hill; two brothers, Eddie Pugh, Jamicheal Westbrook, Grove Hill; one sister, Tykeria Richardson, Grove Hill; two loving grandmothers, Marion (Elbert) James, Grove Hill, Inez (Charles) Richardson, Monroeville; great-grandmother, Gladys Kyles, Perdue Hill; five aunts, one devoted, Cynequa Pugh, Jackson, Vitedia (Askia) Washington, Tamekka (Patrick) Bradshaw, both of Chicago, Ill., Alice (Willie) Carmichael, Lura (Willie) Lett, both of Monroeville; three uncles, one devoted, Elbert Antwan James, Grove Hill, Timmy Dale, Monroeville, Elbert (Jake) James III, Chicago, Ill.; one devoted great uncle, Johnny (boo-boo) Pugh, Grove Hill; devoted godparents, Rev. William (Cynthia) Jackson, Grove Hill; one devoted cousin, Lil’ Indya Pugh, a special family friend, Michael Westbrook and a host of other family members and friends that loved him dearly.
The service was June 2 at 2 p.m. at Clarke County High School in Grove Hill with Rev. Fernell Pendleton, pastor, officiating. Burial was in the First Baptist Church of Whatley.
Active pallbearers were family and members of the "Class of 2014."
Flowerbearers were members of the Class of "2014."
