Gena Lynn Parker, 43, of Thomasville died June 25, 2012 at her residence.

She was born Sept. 6, 1968 in Thomasville. She was a graduate of Faulkner University. She was a member of the Pineview Baptist Church. She as a 20 year employee of Pine Belt Telephone Company. She was a loving mother.

Survivors include one son, Hunter Parker, Thomasville; one daughter, Natalie Parker, Thomasville; her father, Bernard Pugh, Thomasville; her mother, Barbara Pugh, Thomasville; one brother, Bo (Hillary Bradford) Pugh, Thomasville; one sister, Linda Powell, Thomasville; three nieces, Christan Bishop, Kelli Powell, Jordan Powell, all of Thomasville; her fiancee, Roger Van Wyck and his children, Kelsie and Clay Van Wyck, all of Thomasville.

The service was June 27 at 11 a.m. at Pineview Baptist Church with Revs. Glenn Akridge, Mitch Thrower, Scott Myers and Benny Harrison officiating. Burial was in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Thomasville.

Active pallbearers were Marshall Parten, Mike Ledkins, Steve Green, Norris Robinson, Joe Agee and Andy Bagley.

Honorary pallbearers were The Employees of Pine Belt Telephone Company.

Memorials may be made to the Pineview Baptist Church Building Fund, 182 Moore Street, Thomasville.
