Maxine Johnson Bradford, 78, of Thomasville died July 24, 2012 at Willow Trace Nursing Home in Butler.
She was born April 4, 1934 in Nanafalia. She was a member of the Thomasville Baptist Church, West Alabama Medical Center Hospital Auxiliary, retired and senior volunteer program, the Red Hat Society and the Christian Fellowship Organization. She was a retired timber manager.
Survivors include two sons, Phil (Margaret) Bradford, Meridian, Miss., Paul (Karen) Bradford, Thomasville; eight grandchildren; 11 greatgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Millard Bradford and an infant son.
The service was July 27 at 11 a.m. at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Mitch Thrower and Dr. Marcus Finch officiating. Burial was at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in Scyrene.
Active pallbearers were Clint Bradford, Will Ashcraft, Matt Ashcraft, Clay Bradford, Seth Bradford and Billy “Red” Watts.
Honorary pallbearers were the Seekers Sunday School Class at Thomasville Baptist Church.
