Russell Austin Moseley, 80, of Jackson died Aug. 7, 2012 at his residence.
He was born Jan. 15, 1932. He was a native of St. Stephens. He was a member of the Victory Grove Church of Wagarville. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War Conflict. He was a self-employed carpenter .
Survivors include three sons, Donald R. (Gail) Moseley, Ronald A. Moseley, all of Jackson, Byron Craig (Rhonda) Moseley, Spanish Fort; one daughter, Sharon M. (David) Smith, Jackson; one sister, Jackie O’Gwynn, Arizona; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bertie Mae Reeves Moseley.
A graveside service will be Aug. 9 at 10 a.m. at Peniel Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Glenn Sullivan officiating.
Active pallbearers will be Ronnie Moseley, Davey Moseley, Michael Hayes and Connor Smith.
