Willie Margaret McKee, 91, of Summerdale died Aug. 15, 2012.
She was born Oct. 3, 1920. She was a former resident of Clarke/Washington counties. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Jackson. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include an adopted son, Jay P. (Patricia) McKee, Summerdale; one brother, Slay Hudson, Jackson; three grandchildren, John (Melissa) McKee, David McKee, Jennifer McKee (Thomas “Bubba”) Butts; seven great-grandchildren, Geoffrey (Anna) McKee, Perry McKee, Trevor McKee, Tucker McKee, Sally McKee, Max McKee and Tatum McKee; one greatgreat grandchild, Kaylee McKee; nieces and nephews, Claire (Burt) Parrish, Suzanne (Carey) Boutwell, Kay (Pat) Rogers, Lee (Mark) Magill, Becky (Rick) Diflippo, Johnny (Rhonda) Hudson.
She is preceded in death by her husband, J.P. McKee Jr.; a brother, A.W. “Bud” Hudson Jr., sister-in-law, Helen Hudson and a granddaughter-in-law, Gayle McKee.
The service was Aug. 16 at 2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Jackson with Rev. Jim DuFriend officiating. Burial was in the Trinity Memorial Gardens in Jackson.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Jackson.
Active pallbearers were David Milstead, Mark Milstead, J.P. Milstead, Jason Diflippo, Walter Morris and Tom Henley.
