Davis McArthur Walker, age 66, a native and resident of Saint Stephens was born April 29, 1946 to the parentage of the late Samson Walker and Lillie Mitchell Walker. At the death of his mother, Mr. Walker was raised by his step-mother, the late Victoria Walker.

He retired from Parham and Parham Construction Company. Mr. Walker was a member of James Chapel Baptist Church, Saint Stephens. He departed this life Sept. 2, 2012 at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center, Mobile.

He is survived by his wife, Minnie H. Walker of Grove Hill; one son, Reginald Walker, Sr. of Chicago, IL; one daughter, Valerie (Randy) Walker-Eatmon of Dickinson; seven brothers, Henry Eugene (Rosie) Wright of Wagarville; Herbert (Noel) Walker of Fayetteville, NC; Samuel (Margaret) Walker, Robert Earl (Ella) Walker, and Joseph Walker, all of Chicago, IL; Lee Walker of Atlanta, GA, and James (Queen) Raspberry of Gainesville, FL; 12 grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends.

Viewing will be Saturday, Sept. 8, 11 a.m. until the 12 noon service at James Chapel Baptist Church, Saint Stephens, Rev. Victor Williams, pastor .

Following burial in the church cemetery, the family will receive friends at the family home, 3311 Mobile

Cutoff Road, Saint Stephens, AL.
