Marvin Luther Haskew, 95, of Weaver, Ala. died Aug. 27, 2012 at Stringfellow Memorial Hospital in Anniston.
He was born Dec. 10, 1916. He was a native of Clarke County. He was a member of the Edgewood Methodist Church. He was a United States Army World War II veteran and a mason with the Alexandria Lodge. He had been employed with Anniston Army Depot for 10 years, then with Anniston Auto Parts until retirement.
Survivors include his wife, Anne Haskew, nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Marvin Haskew and Ada Thomas Haskew, four brothers, Bertrum, Purvis, Tollie Lee and J.D. Haskew and one sister, Lucile Haskew Lambert.
The service was at Chapel Hill Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Bill Snow and Rev. Mike Brinkman officiating. Burial was in the Anniston Memorial Gardens.
Active pallbearers were Gaines Haskew, E.B. Haskew, William Marvin Haskew, T.L. Haskew, Phillip Garmon and Daniel Swindall.
Honorary pallbearers were the Masons.
