Inez Bagley Andrews, 84, of Thomasville died Oct. 17, 2012 at Thomasville Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center.

She was born Aug. 24, 1928 in Thomasville. She was a member of the Thomasville United Methodist Church where she was a former secretary and Sunday school teacher. She was a former manager at Bedsole’s Shoe Department.

Survivors include one son, Jimmy Ray (Debra) Andrews, Thomasville; one daughter, Carolyn Andrews (Alton) Drinkard, Thomasville; one brother, Fletcher Bagley, Auburndale, FL; one sister, Agnes Jackson, Mobile; four grandchildren, Jeff (Melanie) Drinkard, Jarod (Tanya) Andrews, Lucas (Cotrena) Andrews, Abbie Andrews (Chris) Lacey; eight great-grandchildren, Cole Andrews, Megan Andrews, James Andrews, Travis Andrews, Deanna Lacey, Drew Lacey, Mary Madeline Drinkard, Evans Drinkard.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Maynard Ray Andrews.

The service was Oct. 19 at 11 a.m. at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home with Revs. Jarod Andrews and George Sedberry officiating. Burial was in the Kelley Cemetery in Thomasville.

Active pallbearers were Jeff Drinkard, Lucas Andrews, Chris Lacey, Glenn Hobgood, and Gerald Jackson.

Honorary pallbearers were great-grandsons, Cole Andrews, James Andrews, Travis Andrews, Drew Lacey and Evans Drinkard, Marion Bartlett, Andy Bagley, Wendell Sheffield, Russell Andrews, Boyce Kelley, Randall Fendley and the staff of the Thomasville Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center.

Memorials may be made to the Thomasville United Methodist Church, Springfield Methodist Protestant Church or the Ronald McDonald House.
