Wilma Irene Counselman, 95, of Thomasville died Oct. 12, 2012 at her residence.

She was born Jan. 1, 1917 in Campbell. She was a member of the Bashan Baptist Church. She was a retired grocery store clerk.

Survivors include three daughters, Patricia Counselman Rush, June Counselman Morrison, Janice Counselman Anson, all of Thomasville; one sister, Thelma Cofer, Dothan; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Amos Bunyan Counselman; one daughter Faye Counselman Woodall.

The service was Oct. 15 at 11 a.m. at Witch Creek Baptist Church with Revs. Jimmy Simpkins and Marcus Long officiating. Burial was in the Witch Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Wendell Morrison, Brandon Morrison, Josh Morrison, Trey Emmons, Darren Woods and Timmy Woodall.
