Wanda Faye Tarvin Andrews, age 52, a native of Whatley and a resident of Grove Hill was born April 24, 1960 to the parentage of Miller Dean Barnett Tarvin and the late Arthur Tarvin. She departed this life Nov. 1, 2012 at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center, Mobile.

Mrs. Andrews was a member of First Baptist Church of Whatley. She was a fire watch safety attendant in the construction industry.

A void has been left in the hearts of her loving and devoted family; husband, Henry Earl Andrews of Grove Hill; three sons, Brandon Tarvin and Andrew Givens, both of Grove Hill, and Delon N. Andrews of Atlanta, GA; one daughter, Antoinette Tarvin of Grove Hill; three sisters, Clara (Frank) Brown of Coffeeville; Shirley (Otis Thompson) Rodgers and Mae Rinder Tarvin, both of Grove Hill; five brothers, Clifford Tarvin, Edward (Rosemary) Tarvin, and Arthur Tarvin, all of Grove Hill; Kenneth Robinson of Ft. Pierce, Florida, and Cecil (Velda) Robinson of Whatley; nine grandchildren.

Viewing will be held Sat. November 10, 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. service at First Baptist Church of Whatley, Rev. Fernell Pendleton, pastor and eulogist. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
