Claude Virgil “Red” Quinley, 88, of Jackson died Nov. 27, 2012.
He was born Jan. 17, 1924. He was a member of the VFW as well as a Mason and member of the Santa Fe Lodge #226 in Jackson and was a 50-year pin recipient. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jackson. He was a retired maintenance worker from Boise.
Survivors include his wife, Alice G. Quinley, Jackson; one son, William G. Quinley, Malbis; one daughter, Susan Quinley (Joel) Raines, Grayson, Georgia; one sister, Elizabeth Traveis, Boca Raton, Fla.; three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by parents, John E. and Viola Morris Quinley.
Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 30 at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service with Rev. Brian Jemison officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Crest Cemetery in Jackson.
