India Pearl Lowry Spinks, 86, of Thomasville died Dec. 1, 2012 at Mobile Infirmary.

She was born Feb. 19, 1926 in Linden. She as a member of the Thomasville United Methodist Church. She was a former bookkeeper at Spinks Drug Co. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, Steve Spinks, Brussels, Belgium, Lynwood Spinks, Los Angeles, Calif.; five grandchildren, Joseph Spinks, Graham Spinks, Jason Spinks, all of Brussels, Belgium, Jena Spinks, Washington, D.C. and Hunter Spinks of San Francisco, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Spinks.

Visitation will be Thursday, Dec. 6 from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service at the Thomasville United Methodist Church with Rev. George Sedberry officiating. Burial will be in the Choctaw Corner Cemetery in Thomasville.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the United Methodist Children’s Home.

Active pallbearers will be Larry Malley, Ken Spinks, Charles Slade, Hardy Kimbrough, James Whitley and John Wortham.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ted Cornelius, Bill Askew, John Collins and Nollie Loper.
