Thomas V. “Knocker” Dungan, 64, of Nanafalia died Jan. 3, 2013 at DCH Regional Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 30, 1948. He was a member of the Nanafalia Baptist Church. He was a United States Army Veteran. He was a retired maintenance worker.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Dungan, Nanafalia; two daughters, Mitzi (Jason) Baugh, Scyrene, Teresa (Walter) Jackson, Calhoun, GA; one brother, Ray (Faye) Dungan, Mount Vernon; four grandchildren, Elizabeth Pulliam, Adairsville, GA, Nicholas Jackson, Calhoun, GA, Justin Baugh, Bella Dean Baugh, both of Scyrene.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Dennis Wayne Cooke and Richard Patrick Cooke.
The service was Jan. 7 at 2 p.m. at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Hal Taylor officiating. Burial was in the Choctaw Corner Cemetery in Thomasville;
Active pallbearers were Walter Jackson, Scott Harirs, Nicholas Jackson, Ken Morris, Justin Baugh and Chris Walker.
Honorary pallbearers were Jerry Drinkard, Max Joiner, Jonnie Steel, Bernard Pugh, Frank Martin, Mack Harris and William Allen.
