Virginia Chaney Crow, 92, of Thomasville died Jan. 22, 2013 at Infinity Hospice in Marion, Miss. She was a homemaker and a bookkeeper.
She was born Nov. 21, 1920 in Thomasville. She was a member of the Thomasville Baptist Church. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her son, Harold L. (Diane) Crow, Thomasville; two daughters, Charlotte C. (Gary) Cockerham, Thomasville, Karen C. (David) Money, Headland; one sister, Marion Chaney Crow, Thomasville; nine grandchildren, Brandon (Vickie) Cockerham, Vernon, AL, Brad (Jamie) Cockerham, Grove Hill, Kristen (Steve) Thompson, Dothan, Dave (Jamie) Money, Ashville, N.C., Scott (Laura) Money, Birmingham, Erin Money, Headland, Ashley Crow, Amanda Crow and Arianne Crow, all of Tuscaloosa; 12 great-grandchildren, Marlee Cockerham, Macee Cockerham, Jack Cockerham, Elijah Cockerham, Isabella Cockerham, Loralie Cockerham, Anna Claire Thompson, Owen Thompson, Benton Thompson, Mason Money, Emma Scott Money, Noah Crow, three step-great-grandchildren, Logan Fisher, Cole Fisher and Anna Fisher.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl James Crow, a granddaughter, Amy Crow and a brother, Bill Chaney.
The service was Jan. 25 at 2 p.m. at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Ty Parten officiating. Burial was in the Choctaw Corner Cemetery in Thomasville.
Active pallbearers were Gary Cockerham, Brandon Cockerham, Brad Cockerham, David Money, Scott Money, Dave Money, Steve Thompson and Bryant Savelle.
Honorary pallbearers were Ashley Crow, Amanda Crow and Arianne Crow.
