Noah Franklin Morgan, 76, of Grove Hill died Jan. 19, 2013 at his daughter’s home in Thomasville.
He was born Sept. 21, 1936. He was a member of Salem Baptist Church. He was a former mill foreman at Scotch Lumber Company. He was a professional fisherman.
Survivors include his wife, Hazel Adams Morgan, Grove Hill; three sons, Noah Franklin Morgan Jr., Jacksonville, FL, Kevin (Tammy) Jordan, Mount Carmel, IL, Richard Morgan, Atmore; two daughters, Jan Jordan Anderson, Thomasville, Rhonda Morgan (Barry) Middleton, Bay Minette; two brothers, Earnest Morgan, Elex “James” Morgan, both of Selma; one sister, Libby Morgan Bradford, Fulton; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a host of nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tommy Clifford and Lennie Champion Morgan and a sister, Lennie Frost.
The service was Jan. 23 at 11 a.m. at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home with Revs. Don White, Grey Snodgrass and Harvey Hutto officiating. Burial was in the Bassett Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Grove Hill.
Active pallbearers were Gaylan Adams, Randy Adams, Jeremey Adams, George McIntyre, Van Vice and Miles Wilson.
Honorary pallbearers were all of his grandsons.
